These 5 coins made big gains last week even as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin struggled in a bear market – Bitcoin – US Dollar ($ BTC), Ethereum – US Dollar ($ ETH)

Even though the main cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) m Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) and Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) failed to impress last week, these five coins made some big gains.

Revain (REV): The Ethereum-based online review platform token is up 50.46% from last week. The token hit an all-time high of $ 4.49 four years ago in February 2018.

Last week, Revain said it had successfully updated its platform and is currently working on “review limits.” The project tweeted that after the update an author could write 10 reviews per day and that they plan to raise the cap on posts per author.

NEAR Protocol (PRES): The Layer 1 blockchain token designed as a community-managed cloud computing platform has risen 39.13% in the past seven days. The Near Protocol price hit an all-time high of $ 13.21 in October 2021.

Over the weekend, Near Protocol announced a “high class” collection of 2,000 algorithm-generated NFTs dubbed the Near Tiger Academy on the platform, according to a tweet.

Oasis Network (ROSE): Layer 1 blockchain token focused on open finance and responsible data has grown 33.25% in the past seven days. Crypto on the Oasis Network hit an all-time high of $ 0.4638 last month.

Last week, the Oasis Protocol Foundation released a technical update note. Some of the highlights of the note were – various wallet enhancements, Emerald ParaTime compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine, which is now live, and Wormhole Bridge integration into ParaTime, which is expected by the end of December.

BitTorrent (BTT: The coin related to the peer-to-peer file-sharing network rose 29.30% over the past week. The BTT token hit a record high of $ 0.01426 in April.

The increased interest shown by retail investors in Stocktwits has given the token a boost. The BTT news that emerged recently was related to a redenomination plan.

As part of the plan, the market capitalization of BTT tokens would be maintained, but existing tokens would be renamed and traded at a 1: 1000 ratio, with the total supply rising to $ 990 trillion out of the existing $ 990 billion.

The existing tokens will be renamed BTTOLD and the new tokens will be called BTT. On Sunday, BitTorrent Inc tweeted that nearly 7 billion BTTOLD tokens were burned due to community participation after the redenomination was launched.

Loop (LRC): The Ethereum-based token aimed at creating decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges gained 21.12% over the past week. LRC hit an all-time high of $ 3.83 last month.

Earlier this month, LRC garnered strong interest from retail investors after a leak in the Loopring repository GitHub apparently indicated a possible partnership with GameStop Corporation (NYSE: GME) in the non-fungible token market.

Rising Ethereum transaction fees also propelled LRC with the Loopring Twitter account, highlighting the platform’s benefits last week.
