Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva leaked on Tamilrockers, Filmyzilla, other torrent sites

The action-adventure fantasy film Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has leaked on various torrent sites. According to reports, Brahmastra is being leaked on sites like Tamilrockers, Movierulz, Filmyzilla, 123movies, Telegram and torrent sites in HD despite a recent court order prohibiting ‘rogue’ websites from streaming the mega movie without permission.

On September 6, the producers of brahmastra, Star India Pvt Ltd, obtained a restraining order from the Delhi High Court against the unauthorized showing of the film and pointed out that if the film was leaked online it would infringe its copyright and negatively impact its activity. He had stated that any hosting, streaming, reproduction and distribution of the film, without permission, was not against the law.

A PTI report said Judge Jyoti Singh passed the interim ex parte order which stated that “piracy must be curbed and must be dealt with with a heavy hand and an injunction against the filtering of copyrighted content.” by scam websites should be granted… Plaintiff has established a prima facie case for the grant of ex parte ad-interim relief Defendants Nos. 1-18 (Fraudulent Websites) are barred and to all others acting for and/or on their behalf to host, broadcast, retransmit, exhibit, make available for viewing and downloading, provide access to and/or communicate to the public, display, upload, modify, publish, update and/or share on their websites via the Internet or any other platform, the film Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva and related contents, in such a way that infringe plaintiff’s copyright thereon, up to p next court date.

Before that, almost all major releases, Liger, RRR, Attack, Pushpa, Akhanda, Vakeel Saab, Bheemla Nayak, Shyam Singha Roy, Bangarraju, DJ Tillu, Khiladi, Rowdy Boys, Good Luck Sakhiby Janhvi Kapoor Roohiby Mohanlal Drishyam 2, 2.0, Angrezi Medium, Bhoot Part One The Haunted Ship, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Love Aaj Kal and 3D street dancerleaked online, which analysts say hurt their earnings.

Ranbir Kapoor’s request

Earlier, actor Ranbir Kapoor during a screening asked viewers not to tweet spoilers on social media. In the video, Ranbir said, “Just a request. Jo bhi spoilers hain iss movie ke, please try not to put it on social media. Because the audience that hasn’t seen it would love to experience it.”

Large aperture

Ranbir Kapoor star – Alia Bhatt started with strong collections on day one, earning nearly Rs 43.3 crore in India and Rs 75 crore globally. With these numbers, brahmastra left behind collections of pre-pandemic films like Bahubali-Conclusion, Sanju, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Dhoom 3. Till recently, the highest Day 1 earnings were reported by Bahubali – The Conclusion by SS Rajamouli, which raised Rs 41 crore.

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is the first part of the trilogy set in Astraverse based on ancient Indian astras, and also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in the lead roles, and was made on a mega budget of Rs 450 crore.
